GENERAL MANAGER

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced General Manager to oversee the overall operational, financial, and culinary responsibility of the restaurant.

Responsibilities

  • - The General Manager is to provide the highest quality service to guests at all times, maintain integrity of service, visit tables while on floor to solicit feedback and is responsible to help on floor when necessary
  • - Ensure restaurant is properly and fully booked to ensure maximum revenue without sacrificing service
  • - Train management and staff to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Ensure staff understands local, state and Federal liquor laws
  • - Responsible for proper reporting of all revenue, and costs. Ensure they are in line with the budget and/or guidelines
  • - Conduct daily pre-shift and monthly department meetings with staff
  • - Create marketing plans for the restaurant to increase revenue. Implement and follow through on all approved ideas

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

  • - College degree or equivalent experience required
  • - Six years prior front of the house restaurant experience in a high volume establishment required
  • - Minimum 2-3 years prior experience in restaurant management or food and beverage outlets management within a luxury environment required
  • - Experience in various capacities of restaurant staff (ie: waiter, host, bartender, runner, etc.) strongly preferred
  • - Participation in wine/beverage related program within the past five years
  • - Prior experience with Point of Sales (POS) required. Micros OS experience preferred
  • - Must possess or be able to obtain State of Hawaii Liquor Commission Manager’s Card
  • - In-depth working knowledge of food and beverage preparation, wine and beverages required
  • - Ability to lead, strategically plan, proactively communication, build team member buy in, be a self-motivator, have great attention to detail, multi-task, remain calm and collected under pressure, creatively problem solve is a must

Sous Chef

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Sous Chef to assist with managing all aspects of the day-to-day kitchen operation while supervising the preparation and cooking of all food items.

Responsibilities

  • - Work with the Executive Chef and Chef de Cuisine to produce diversified menus in accordance with the restaurant’s policy and vision
  • - Assumes operational responsibility for the kitchen in the absence of the Executive Chef and Chef de Cuisine
  • - Assists in establishing the working schedule and organize the work in the kitchen so that everything works like a “well-oiled machinery”
  • - Produce high quality dishes that follow up the established menu and level up to location’s standards, as well as to clients’ requirements
  • - Assist with recruitment, hiring and training of kitchen staff in order to uphold the hotel’s standards
  • - Ensures the hygiene and food safety standards are met in all stages of food preparation, starting with the ingredients and ending with the finished dish which leaves the kitchen door

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

  • - High School diploma or equivalent required
  • - Minimum 3 to 5 years culinary experience at a hotel or restaurant required

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Busser to help create the Ravish experience by assisting the servers.

Responsibilities

  • - Assist the servers in serving food, filling drinks, cleaning tables, resetting tables, restocking supplies and helping out guests
  • - Prepares dining rooms for guests by setting tables and stocking all essential supplies prior to the beginning of service
  • - Maintains table settings by removing finished courses and replacing utensils as needed
  • - Supports wait staff with delivery of food and retrieval of any supplies they may require
  • - Protects establishment and guests by adhering to sanitation and safety policies

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

  • - High School diploma or equivalent required

We are looking for a passionate & experienced Steward to maintain the overall cleanliness and remedying of any safety hazards of Ravish.

Responsibilities

  • - Responsible for the overall cleanliness and sanitation of all Food and Beverage areas, to include Dish Rooms, Main Kitchen, Prep Stations, Bars, Food and Beverage Cold and Dry Storage, Poolside Pantries, and Food Service Areas
  • - Washing and sanitizing all Food and Beverage equipment and utensils in the Main Dish Machine Area
  • - Determine equipment needs for Banquet Event Orders, and list requirements on “Banquet Equipment Requisition Form”
  • - Analyze and Evaluate SDS sheets to determine hazards of the various cleaning agents and chemicals being used to accomplish the various tasks prior to their usage

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

  • - Able to carry 60 lbs as necessary, throughout the shift
  • - Able to push a cart the weighing up to 500 lbs, with or without assistance; will pull a cart that weighs up to 100 lbs.
  • - Able to use varying types of chemicals
  • - Must speak clear and concise English
  • - Must have legible Handwriting
